Animalia presents RoBUTCHER at RIBMINS conference

The innovative concept of the meat factory cell was presented by Animalia at the Risk-Based Meat Inspection and Integrated Meat Safety Assurance conference on 15.-16. of October.

The MFC approach has produced very good hygienic results in the first trials. Probably, it is for the first time demonstrated that the entire gastro-intestinal tract can be removed intact. This reduce the risk for fecal contamination of the meat.

RoBUTCHER will scrutinise legislation for non-intentional obstacles to innovation. This will probably be done in collaboration with researchers from New Zealand and the USA. They will in parallel look into their legislation. Gunvor Elise Nagel Alne, (Animalia) will coordinate this work.
